Garbage In, Garbage Out

When new companies invest in Singapore by moving in headquarters, or creating new industries, we always hear boosts from politicians and newspaper mouthpiece on how many jobs will be created, and how many related jobs will also be created in related industries.

But when companies retrench and get out of Singapore, we only hear about the retrenchment numbers, and not the ripple effect on other related industires.

Why?
