World Class Government?

The quality of a government, I feel, is not how well it is doing for the majority of the citizens. That is a basic requirement.

What constitutes a world-class government? What is the difference between a A or A* grade? It is how well the government is doing for the minority of the citizens.

For that, the PAP government failed miserably.

Where Are All The Silent Majority?

I know of people who do not approve of homosexuals. I know of people who think that homosexuals are not born with, but learnt. I know of people who will be very upset if their children turns out to be homosexuals.

But I do not know of anyone who wants to jail homosexuals for whatever behavior they do behind closed doors and windows.

Where is this "silent majority" conversative Singaporeans that want homosexuals to go to jail? Where is this "conservative" element in our society that want to take such non-conservative extreme actions?

World-Class Transport System Needs Quality, Not Just Efficiency

Sacrificing 76 seats to squeeze in 100 more commuters is economically efficient in adding numbers, but a world-class transport system needs quality of travel too.
